Insgesamt werden 33 verschiedene Sportarten besprochen. Dabei wird jeweils auf Grundlagen, Belastungsprofil, Verletzungen, Überlastungsschäden und Prävention eingegangen. Zum Abschluss folgen Kapitel zu Rehabilitation und Prävention sowie Sport mit Knieendoprothese.
